Immigration
As soon as you come out of your plane .. first you will goto the immigration counter .. again the official at immigration counter can be a little rude .. you keep smiling .. general questions like

what is the purpose ??
how long ??

he would give I-94 to you .. keep it securely with you .. this document is as important as your passport .. it would be required when you go back to India …

Collect your luggage
keep looking for your luggage .. control your urge to pick others luggages (PJ) .. :D

Get a taxi
Follow the signs to taxi ..

Paris Airport – transit

Paris airport is one of the largest airport I thin ki have seen till now ..

When you get out of your flight, you need to check the TV screens/your boarding pass to find where are they boarding your flight … feel free to ask the airport attendants in case of any doubt ..

In my case .. I had to follow a zig-zag path .. get on one bus to reach a place .. got my security check done .. then on zig-zag path… came out .. then got on the second bus to reach the final waiting lounge ..

In-flight

They would give you the immigration forms to fill up which would be required during immigration at USA airport ..

This song Paathshala from Rang De Basanti .. the guy says 'Loose Control' .. i always thought and used to sing 'You Scoundrel' :) ..

It was only when I downloaded lyrics from net today I realised it's 'Loose Control' :) ..

Btw .. its an AWESSSSSOMMMLYYYY good song .. if you have not listened to it yet .. just go first and listen to it and then read the rest of the post :) ..

King of Prussia Mall .. is the second largest Mall in USA .. as they say .. i have no idea ..

But the place is really cool .. all four of us went to chill out ..

ps - i was in a dilemma if to post the picture which I took ... or the one which Paul took (Paul is my apartmentmate standing on rightmost .. :) )
Then i came to conclusion that I should choose the former picture (on the cost that I am not in the picture :) ) .. I would maintain this in future also .. as this blog is less about me and more about everything else I encounter ..

Suraj Kund Crafts Mela is organised in Suraj Kund - a sub-urb area of delhi towards faridabad - every year in the month of february.

What is so special about this particular Mela ??
1) It is just a stone's throw away from my home :)
2) You have craftsman coming literally from all over India to showcase & sell crafts products like shawl, metal items, pottery items & god knows what ..
3) The atmosphere in this mela is really charged & energised .. you have rajasthani dance in one corner & real bhangra in another corner .. bhel puri etc served in one corner & jhoolas outside the mela ..
4) They also choose some state as the theme every year .. and showcase cultural snippets from that state ..

I just talked to my parents back at India and they told that this year 'Maharashtra' has been chosen as the theme state .. hmmm .. god I wished for a moment to be there and enjoy myself to the fullest .. maybe next year ..

Had "Chicken Wrap" this afternoon in lunch -- for the first time in my life -- and it tasteeeeed really aweeeeeesssssommmmmme :). (Thanks to one of my US based Desi colleageue Ramesh). Also, found a recipe link here.
