| Adrenaline Rush .... Bhalla wanted to go for "Dare Devil Dive" at six flags and initially i was what the heck .. then i thought ok letz try it ... So, we registered @ around 9 pm and moments later I found myself standing on the 'launch platform' getting 'instructions' from the instructor .... Bhalla was the one who was 'pulling the plug' ... which basically means once we are pulled to the top with a rope .. we would here someone doing the reverse counting "3, 2, 1 .. go .." ... and then somebody amongst us (bhalla in our case) would need to pull a plug attached to our 'costume' to 'go free' ... hmmphs ... all set and the ground was 'removed' beneath my feet and I found myself hanging helplessly .. seeing everybody down going farther and farther and getting pulled up inch by inch up & more up ... i had the courage once to glance around to see how much 'deep shit' I have gotten into by agreeing to Bhalla but after this one time I decided not to look around anymore and just 'prepare' myself for the fall.. then we heard '3, 2, 1 .. go' and wham swooooooosh ... i was coming down @ 9.8 metres per second square ... i was sure the rope is gonna break and we are about to hit the ground when we swooshed the ground and started going through other side ... then the return swing followed ... then one more swing dot dot dot .... couple of swings and then we were back to normal ... (did i mention that all this while i was silent in shock as dumb while bhalla was screaming at his lungs :)).. well, u need to do it yourself to realize all of the above ... as for me, i think i m a grownup in terms of free fall .. so i look forward for some bigger jump in future ... .... is becoming synonymous to movies ...
started the day watching RDB loaded on my laptop .. then watched poseidon ... and in the evening went to the "bazoo wala theatre" for Pirates of the Caribbean ...
Okish movie I would say .... I have not watched the first part .. so in the beginning nothing was making much sense to me .. but as the story progressed it started to make a little (non) sense to me ...
eh .. the worst thing was when the movie ended ... i was WTF!?? .. i expected at least 0.5 hours more of story .... i mean the hero just died 5 minutes back and everyone was planning to go & rescue him when i started seeing the credits and i was !@!@&^%!@&^! ....
anyways .. you can go & watch it once (and only once not more than than no matter who tells you what) .. and that also if you are 200% sure that you have nothing to spend your evening on ....

Superman Returns ... and man !! he has returned in Style ...I watched the movie today and itz worth the $ 13 I spent for it ... we (me & my roommates) watched it at the nearby IMax theatre .. and the big IMAX screen plus the 3D effects just added to the good storyline that they have put to bring back the big S back to the big Screen ...
There are some surprises also waiting in the movie like the junior superman (oops ... i said it .. sorry ..)
so .. dont miss it ..

Travelled back to US ... this time it was British Airways ... (its a long story why & how it was British Airways) ...
flight was ok .. Usual stuff ... same old in-different Air Hostesses .. same old shitty food ... same old sleepy passengers ....
However at Heathrow Airport, I met an Indian lady carrying a cute little 2.5 month baby with her .. she was having difficulty carrying & managing the baby & the luggage .. so she was standing on the way & looking for some help while I was going to catch my connecting flight ... the baby reminded me of Rishu and i had to immediately offer the help ... so I was with them for rest of the flight and during this also got to know facilities etc a flight provides when travelling with an infant .. (might come handy sometime ... u know :) )
one thing which the lady & I felt was Heathrow Airport Sucks !!!!!! ... you need to travel such a long distance to catch your connecting flight ... oh man ... our small IGI airport is better in this regard we were talking ... seriously ....
another thing is that the lady and her husband are at KOP itself ... so this way I hv got another contact at KOP .. maybe I would visit them sometime ...
